Felony Fugitive Booked Following Foot Pursuit
On April 10th at around 10:30am, an officer was alerted via a FLOCK Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) notification that a stolen Range Rover had entered the city. The officer located the vehicle in the 17500 blk Southcenter Pkwy shortly thereafter just as the driver was exiting the vehicle and entering a nearby business.
Other officers responded to assist and contacted the suspect as he exited the business. Upon being information that he was being detained for investigation of possession of a stolen motor vehicle, the suspect fled on foot. Officers gave chase and he was ultimately taken into custody. He tossed out the “I just swallowed Fentanyl” get out of jail free card which was declined after a medical evaluation.
Inside of the vehicle, officers located a stolen firearm and an unregistered firearm. The suspect was furthermore determined to be a felony fugitive out of Oregon. He was booked into jail for….
