Two Sisters Arrested Following Disorderly Conduct

🚨Two Sisters Arrested, Firearm Recovered🚨

Just after midnight, officers contacted a female that was screaming and being beligerant at a business in the 14000 blk Interurban Ave S. Officers attempts to de-escalated her failed as she was unwilling to do so and she refused to leave after being given multiple warnings. She was taken into custody and booked into jail.

Shortly thereafter, the sister of the woman taken into custody showed up and displayed similar very hostile, aggressive and erratic behavior towards officers and also refused to leave. In a case of deja vu, after multiple warnings officers attempted to take her into custody at which point she resisted arrest and force was necessary to take her into custody.

After being detained, a loaded handgun was recovered. Being a prior convicted felon for Robbery and Theft, she is barred from possession a firearm. She was booked into jail for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
