New Automated Speed Camera at Codiga Park

Codiga Park Automated Speed Enforcement Camera

We have a new speed enforcement camera going live soon at Codiga Park in Allentown. Many cars and trucks pick up speed coming down the 129th St bridge and we have seen speeds in excess of 70mph there. The homes on across from the park are on a blind curve in spots making backing out of their driveways very difficult and unsafe.

There will be signage and flashing lights to warn motorists to reduce their speeds when entering the speed camera enforced zone. This gives them the opportunity to slow their speeds and avoid a ticket while also providing the intended benefit of the camera in reducing overall speeds in the area.
