Dispute Draws Large Police Response

Officers responded to a report of a large dispute involving juveniles in the vicinity of the Southcenter Mall. Some reports indicated that shots had been fired. Reports of shots having been fired were deemed to be inaccurate and no shots were fired. A juvenile male was detained that was in possession of a firearm.

Due to the large number of individuals leaving the area, officers from multiple jurisdictions were requested to assist with safely getting everyone to their vehicles.
