Overnight (8/22) at approximately 12:30AM, officers in the Tukwila Justice Center heard a loud bang in the lobby of the police station and found shattered glass and a bullet hole in the wall. Officers immediately exited the station and observed a 21-year-old male from Kent assaulting a female and male at a bus stop in front of the station. The suspect appeared to be going through the victim’s pockets after assaulting them.
Officers immediately rushed in, and the suspect fled on foot. After a foot pursuit, the suspect was taken into custody in front of a business nearby. The suspect booked into King County Jail on charges of Assault 1st Degree and Robbery 1st Degree. The suspect has previous felony convictions for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Robbery.
