Report of Shooting Draws Heavy Police Response

Just after 2:30PM (6/9), we received a 9-1-1 call from a female reporting that she was at a mosque in the 14100 blk Tukwila International Blvd and that someone was actively firing a gun inside. The reporting party also indicated that people were screaming and running from the location.

Officers rapidly descended on the scene and encountered a very large crowd in the parking lot. It was determined based on the investigation that no shots had been fired. Witnesses reported that several individuals had gotten in a verbal dispute and that one of the involved parties had brandished a firearm before leaving.
