Suspect Arrested For Threatening Victim With Pepperball Pistol
At approximately 10AM officers responded to a report of a threats with a firearm at a business. The initial report indicated that a male had pointed a firearm at another person before fleeing on foot.
Officers were able to track the suspect down and located him inside of a business. Upon contact, the suspect was still armed with the firearm visible on his hip. He was taken into custody without incident. The firearm was determined to be a realistic looking pepperball pistol with no markers to indicate that it was not a real firearm.
Based on the initial investigation, the suspect pointed the firearm at a random individual that was not know to the suspect and pulled the trigger before fleeing. Fortunately no projectile was deployed and no injuries were reported.
The suspect, a 30-year-old male from Tukwila that is known to law enforcement from multiple previous encounters and is being booked into jail.
