Officers Respond to Shooting That Leaves One Injured

At approximately 10:50PM, Tukwila officers responded to multiple 9-1-1 calls reporting the sounds of gunshots in the vicinity of the 14000 blk Tukwila International Blvd. Arriving officers located an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds who had entered a nearby business immediately following the shooting.

Officers applied a tourniquet and chest seal on the victim who was conscious and alert. The Tukwila Fire Department took over aid rendering efforts to the victim upon their arrival. Medics transported the victim to the hospital.

Based on the initial investigation, the incident does not appear to be random in nature. Major Crimes Unit (MCU) detectives will be conducting the investigation into the incident.
