Suspect Sought in Window Smashing Incidents

Our very own Major Crimes Unit (MCU) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the pictured individual wanted in connection with an overnight crime spree the evening of August 21st. In the early morning hours of August 21st, officers were alerted to the fact that the pictured individual vying for the 2021 Cy Young award was hurling large rocks at the window of a business in the 17200 blk Southcenter Pkwy just after 2AM. The suspect was not located at the time.

The next morning, multiple businesses in the same area reported that their windows had been shattered sometime overnight. In reviewing available surveillance footage, said aspiring pitcher was observed pushing a shopping cart filled with rocks around and intentionally throwing them at the windows of multiple businesses. In total, nine businesses in the 17200 blk Southcenter Pkwy reported damaged windows.
