Wanted felony suspect arrested

A patrol sergeant spotted a vehicle blocking the intersection of Southcenter Blvd and Tukwila Int Blvd for no apparent reason. The driver of the vehicle was found to have felony warrants for DV Assault and Unlawful Imprisonment and was booked into jail.

Throughout the day, officers also took three unrelated death investigation reports two of which were apparent natural causes and the third being an apparent fentanyl overdose.

Just before 8:30PM, officers responded to reports of a shooting following a dispute between the occupants of two vehicles in the 14200 blk S 37th St. At approximately 11:04PM, officers responded to reports of someone shooting from a vehicle in the 15800 blk 42nd Ave S and then again similar reports of shots fired from a vehicle in the 13000 blk Interurban Ave S at around 3:30AM. One individual showed up at the emergency room of a local hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound was contacted by Major Crimes Unit (MCU) detectives. No other injuries were reported and MCU detectives are working the cases.
