National Night Out 2021 a Success!

National Night Out 2021! We were able to stop by all the parties along with our elected officials and other city employees! There was some friendly neighborhood rivalry trash talking between Foster Point and Allentown over who had the better food and grilling skills.

Allentown brought some solid grilling skills along with some seriously good cookies. Foster Point rose to the challenge and rolled out a full-service menu including the Chief Drever Dog and Chief Witterwurst. 46th Ave brought their A-game as well with quite a spread and a lot of games and activities. The Riverton Park brought about an intense game of frisbee. The Sullivan Center was absolutely hopping and all the other parties we stopped at were a lot of fun as well. Thank you to everyone who organized and hosted these parties and those that attended as well.

One thing was very clear in every neighborhood we stopped by. Our Tukwila residents are proud of being part of the Tukwila community as well as passionate and willing to discuss tough issues and come up with solutions. Thank you all again for your questions, concerns and kind words. Public safety is truly a community effort, and we are grateful to serve a community that is this involved and invested in public safety.
