Welcome Back Officer Hunter

Welcome Back Officer Hunter – At the end of April of 2020, Officer Hunter went to see a doctor after feeling ill and experiencing random numbness. It was at that time that he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He underwent surgery to remove the tumor which was followed by an exhaustive treatment plan of chemotherapy and radiation treatments.

While recovering, Officer Hunter continued to serve the Tukwila community by assisting with investigations, taking reports via phone and doing behind the scenes administrative tasks. All of his efforts during that time contributed greatly to our operations and the betterment of the Tukwila community.

We are proud to announce that as of this week, Officer Hunter has returned to full-duty status and is back out on patrol.
