All businesses in the city today are open without restriction. Businesses in the evacuated area from yesterday have been cleared to reopen but some may still be closed at their discretion. Foster Golf Course is closed due to parts of the course being flooded still.
City operations are normal today with City Hall and the Tukwila Community Center open. City Hall will be running with limited staffing today due to employees being encouraged to work from home due to road closures and conditions in other areas of the county. ‘
Businesses in the area of the levee break/evacuation area are encouraged to document any damage due to the flooding.
Further updates will be made if anything changes. Due to more rain expected in the coming days, we encourage everyone to have a plan in place in the event of an evacuation order and have a go-bag ready for you, your family and your pets.
