Southcenter District & Surrounding Areas Evacuation Map

The only evacuated area continues to be the small southeast section of the city. As a precaution, the sections in yellow are advised to be prepared to possibly evacuate in the event of another flooding event.

(PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED MAP. RED AREAS ARE “GO NOW” AND YELLOW ARE “SET” TO EVACUATE ON SHORT NOTICE).

The City is urging residents and businesses in the Southcenter District, West Valley Hwy area, and the eastside of Interurban Ave South (north of I-405 and the north end of Foster Golf Course) to “GET SET” for possible evacuation:

• Conditions can change suddenly with little warning. Be ready to leave on short notice.

• Prepare essential items: medications, important documents, pets & supplies, phone chargers.

• Begin preparing to evacuate from your business or residence if an order is given.

• Reduce unnecessary trips and avoid flood-prone areas, especially around rivers and creeks. Do not return to evacuated (“GO NOW”) areas. Maps will be updated when it is safe to return.

• Stay alert and check for updates often. Make a plan now to leave quickly if an evacuation order is issued.
