Officer Injured Following Collision with Suspected DUI Driver

At 1:37AM, an officer patrolling in the vicinity of Southcenter Blvd and Macadam Rd S was struck head-on by a 48-year-old male from SeaTac. The officer was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries stemming from the collision.

The suspect showed signs of impairment. Washington State Patrol responded to process the scene and handle the DUI investigation.
