Community Police Team (CPT) Homeless Outreach Video Coming Soon

Over the past week, we have been busy filming our Community Police Team (CPT) as they go about checking on homeless encampments around the city. Filming should wrap up this week or early next week at which time we will be releasing a video covering our homeless outreach efforts, case laws, policies and protocols related to encampments, RV parking issues and interviews with CPT detectives, our Mental Health Professional (MHP) and some of the individuals that they are helping.

The video will give viewers an inside look at the resources the CPT and MHP offer those in need and how they navigate a web of case law, civil/administrative policies, criminal laws and more to provide a delicate balance of compassion and enforcement in their response to homelessness.
