Detectives Make Arrest for Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material

On January 8th, Tukwila PD Major Crimes Unit (MCU) detectives who are part of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force conducted an arrest and search warrant operation on 57th Ave S in Tukwila for possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). An adult male who was the subject of the arrest warrant was located at the residence and taken into custody.

The ICAC task force program assists state and local law enforcement agencies in their responses to technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and internet crimes against children. Their assistance includes forensic and investigative components, training and technical assistance, victim services and community education. In 2024, ICAC task force investigations led to the arrest of more than 12,600 offenders.
