Codiga Speed Enforcement Cam Warning Period Ends
🚨Codiga Speed Cam Warning Period Ends🚨
The Codiga Park speed enforcement camera has been live for a month with warnings having been issued to just under 9,000 motorists during that time period. Of said warnings, 277 motorists were going 20-30MPH over the speed limit and 14 motorists with Fast & Furious aspirations had speeds in excess of 30-40MPH over the speed limit.
Starting tomorrow (Wednesday, July 9th), citations will begin being issued as the signage, camera and warnings have been in place for approximately one month to give motorists a grace period to get use to the camera and adjust their speed accordingly.
Watch your speeds and help keep our residents and park visitors safe

Well done! You can see the trucks behaving a lot better along that road since the cameras were in place! Looking for similar in the near future right in front of our Tukwila Community Center.
Last month, some women doing the speed limit were runoff the road as a result of a “punishment pass” by a bad actor in a car behind them who wanted to exceed the limit. This was done less than 400 feet from the stop sign by the store. Makes no sense at all. Luckily, neighbors and pastor by formed a small community to help them out and get them back on the road!
