Officers Keep Occupied Vehicle From Rolling Over

Yesterday, officers responded to the report of a vehicle that had gone off the roadway in the Skyway area of Tukwila on 49th Ave S. Upon arriving, they discovered that the vehicle had gone mostly off the roadway and was tipped in a such a manner that it was about to roll down the steep embankment with the driver and occupants still inside of the vehicle.

Officer Hines grabbed on to the car to provide counterweight until Officer Delic and Officer Nunez arrived to assist. Puget Sound Fire rapidly responded and were able to extract the occupants of the vehicle and stabilize the car from rolling down the embankment.
