Overnight Armed Robberies and Shooting Investigation

Last night at around 11PM, Tukwila officers responded to the report of a robbery at a convenience store in the 13100 blk Interurban Ave S. The suspects reportedly stole money from a customer and from the register. An individual present confronted the suspects at which point one of the suspects fired a shot at the ground in front of the victim. The suspects fled the scene immediately following the incident. Shortly thereafter, another armed robbery occurred at a convenience store in the 600 blk Strander Blvd. Based on the description of the suspects, the incidents are believed to be related.
Over the past several weeks, similar robberies have occurred in South King County, Seattle and the Eastside overnight and in broad daylight in several instances. Our Major Crimes Unit (MCU) is investigating the Tukwila robberies and working with our law enforcement partners to identify and apprehend the suspects.
🚨Shooting🚨
Officers responded to a report of gunshot at approximately 3:29AM in the 11100 blk 49th Ave S in Skyway. Responding officers located an adult male in the roadway that had been struck by gunfire. Officers provided aid until Puget Sound Fire and Medic One arrived and took over life-saving efforts. The victim was transported to the hospital. The incident is being investigated by our Major Crimes Unit (MCU).
