Two Shot Following Physical Altercation

Just before 4PM, officers responded to the 5200 blk S 137th St after receiving a report of shots being fired. Upon arriving, two adults with apparent gunshot wounds were located at the scene. They were transported from the scene to the hospital by ambulance. 

Based on the initial investigation, it is believed that a verbal argument ensued between the two individuals who had been shot and another individual present at the location. The argument escalated into a physical altercation at which time the third individual opened fire striking the other two. The individual that fired the shots called 9-1-1 and remained at the scene. 

At this time, it is believed to be an isolated incident between the involved parties and all the involved parties are accounted for. The investigation is ongoing and Major Crimes Unit (MCU) detectives are on scene investigating.
