Adult Male Arrested for Domestic Violence

This afternoon (5/30) just after 1PM, officers were dispatched to the report of a female that was found wandering in the vicinity of the 3200 blk S 137th St. Responding officers located the female and established probable cause that a domestic violence incident had occurred. The suspect was reported to have fled the scene with the couples two-year-old child and had made threats to kill the child.

Officers located the suspect and child in a nearby residence. Officers surrounded the residence at which time the suspect fled from the house to a nearby shed in the yard. Officers quickly took the opportunity to move into the house and extract the child to safety.

The suspect ultimately exited the shed and was taken into custody without incident. He was booked into jail.

Due to the nature of the incident, Cascade View Elementary was placed on a brief lock down due to the proximity of the incident.
