Tukwila FD Battalion Chief Retires after 40+ Years

As of 8AM this morning, a Tukwila legend has worked his final shift. Battalion Chief Don Tomaso with Tukwila Fire Department logged off from his final shift after serving over 40-years of service. Don was so much a part of the fire department and so old-school that he was a part of the King County Station 18 aka Foster Fire Department before Tukwila FD came into being.

Thank you Don for everything you have done for the Tukwila community, Tukwila FD and for our officers over those many decades of service. Enjoy your well deserved retirement and your next chapter in life. You will be missed.
