Fireworks = Extreme fire risk due to dry conditions

It is hot and dry which when combined, increases the risk of fires exponentially. Please do NOT set off fireworks in the city limits. The Tukwila Fire Department has been very busy with heat related calls the past week. Do not add to the chaos by setting off fireworks and potentially starting a devastating fire.

While we give this warning every year, this year it is especially important due to the extremely hot and dry conditions that we are seeing region-wide.
